Its that time of the year again and its perfect weather for driving with the top down. Used convertibles can be slow sellers during the cooler months but things have really hotted up in our showroom recently. We cant get enough soft tops. Our tips for convertible buyers are simple. Protect your skin. Sunscreen and a cap are best. Wear sunglasses. The glare of driving with the roof down is greatly magnified without the shade of a hardtop. To stay warm, turn the heater on and open the footwell vents. Hot air rises and you’ll remain toasty warm even if its freezing outside. If its hot, drink plenty of water. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can dehydrate on a sunny days drive. If you stick to these common sense tips, you’ll have a ball.
There is nothing quite like driving in a convertible. They are fun, have a better view and they are sexy. They are also versatile and can change to suit your moods. They have heaps of headroom and great vision. We think everyone should try it at least once.
